Change Team Roles - Process Work Stream Lead
The Process Work Stream Lead is key as they oversee and guide the transformation of business processes to align with organisational change. They ensure process changes drive the intended outcomes of the change initiative by creating streamlined, efficient, and sustainable processes.
The Process Work Stream Lead would collaborate with the Project Business Analyst & the Process Improvement Lead to ensure the future-state processes align with the change initiative
Their core responsibilities are to:
- Conduct ‘current-state’ and ‘future-state’ business process assessments:
- Performing detailed assessment of existing business processes to identify inefficiencies, gaps, or areas for improvement.
- Designing new or updated processes that align with the strategic goals of the change initiative, ensuring they are scalable, compliant, and adaptable to future needs.
- Collaborating with project leads, other work stream leads, process owners, stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure process changes align with overall change objectives.
- Identifying potential risks or challenges related to process changes and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards during process redesign and implementation.
- Define process performance metrics that align with organizational goals.
- Develop comprehensive documentation for new or updated processes, including workflows, policies, and procedures.
- Oversee the rollout of new processes, ensuring smooth integration with existing systems, tools, and workflows.
- Coordinate with IT or systems teams to ensure that technology supports the updated processes.
- Assist People Work Stream Lead with user training development to design and deliver training programs for employees affected by process changes.
- Embed the change:
- Providing ongoing support to teams during the transition to ensure successful adoption and address any challenges.
- Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of new processes.
- Monitoring performance post-implementation, gathering feedback and identifying areas for refinement.
- Fostering a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging teams to suggest further enhancements.
